The Nordic Ecommerce Summit has announced another exciting panel consisting of the Swedish Minister for Financial Markets Per Bolund, Qliro CCO Johnny Sällberg, and Bengt Nilervall of Svensk Handel. The discussion will be moderated by Johanna Allhorn, Editor-In-Chief of Ehandel. Tickets for the event are free but limited on a first come, first serve basis.
Per Bolund, the Minister of Financial Markets in Sweden, introduced new law earlier this year in an effort to protect consumers from entering into situations that lead to indebtedness. The law specifically targets ecommerce businesses and it force them to present direct, upfront payment options before any installment or buy-now-pay-later options.
The panel discussion, led by Ehandel Editor-In-Chief Johanna Allhorn, will dive into topics like the effect this law has had on the Swedish market, why all of these payment options have become so popular in recent years, and what the future of payment options looks like. Johanna and Per will be joined by Johnny Sällberg from Qliro to represent the perspective from the other side of the coin and Bengt Nilervall of Svensk Handel to represent a third-party neutral point-of-view.
